IAM4kids has a proven track record for helping build character one child at a time. We have been working with kids and mentors for more than 21 years to help vulnerable kids feel loved and valued.
Our mission is to provide an atmosphere for emotional, physical and spiritual healing so each child can identify potential and fulfill their God-given purpose.
Our vision is to impart character and value through one-on-one relationships – mentoring.
Schools have become much more than a place our children go to learn reading, science, math and other subjects that will help them succeed as adults. Our society has forced them to add moral training, character development, personal grooming, social skills, test prep and much more to the curriculum. We’ve asked our schools to take the initiative of families, but it’s not working. Institutions cannot replace the family.
Our children need to know they are valued and loved before learning happens.
In our 21 years of operation, we’ve helped hundreds of kids find their value and change for the better. When you step forward to listen to a child for an hour a week, a life changes little by little.
